Second edition of UsabilityTour, the research project in the hotel field conducted in partnership with CISET. The usability tests this year took place at the Camping Union Lido, the first five-star camping in Italy, located in Cavallino-Treporti (VE).

This year the object of analysis was on images on hotel websites.

The Focus of this edition was the users’ emotional response whilst looking at hotel photographs. In particular, we wanted to analyze which images inspired the most reservations.

A total of 46 tests were carried out using Eye Tracking, EEG and IAT (Implicit Association Test).

The data were presented in Vienna last November at the IFITT Workshop on Analytics in Tourism Design Forum.
